Castle or palace? Choose your residence for the weekend!

Spending the night in a castle or palace is a unique way to experience the atmosphere of former residences not only as a visitor, but also as a guest. Historic interiors, parks and peaceful surroundings are conducive to rest, allowing one to detach from everyday life for a while, and perhaps even travel back in time. It is an option both for a short stop and for an entire weekend spent in unusual surroundings, where history accompanies every moment.

Castle or palace? Choose your residence for the weekend!

Sulisław Palace
This is undoubtedly one of the most exclusive ways to spend a weekend in a former residence – the first five-star hotel in the Opole Voivodeship. Sulisław Palace offers 14 luxurious rooms, including the representative Ambassador Suite. For guests looking for a more economical option, rooms are also available in the buildings of the former farm. There are 87 spacious single, double and studio rooms there. The stay is complemented by the palace restaurant, Graf, serving Polish cuisine in the chef’s original interpretations. A stay in Sulisław is worth planning for several days – guests can enjoy a spa with a wide range of Ayurvedic treatments, a swimming pool and saunas, as well as a gym. Those interested in sightseeing are invited to visit the fascinating palace museum. Not far away, by the palace ponds, there is a bathing area and a fishing site.

Bożejów Castle
This is an excellent option for people who love nature, walks in the forest and observing wildlife. Bożejów Castle is in fact a former hunting lodge, picturesquely situated among the Stobrawa Forests. Rooms are located both in the castle itself and in the nearby building of the so-called forge. Bicycles can be rented on site, and guests who prefer more comfort can enjoy a carriage ride. After a full day of walking, relief can be found in the intimate SPA or in a massage chosen from the wide range of treatments on offer. A mini zoo, a field game and a rope park are further attractions that make a stay in Bożejów even more enjoyable.

Moszna Castle
Who would not want to spend at least one night in this picturesque building, which looks as if it has been taken straight out of a fairy tale? Moszna Castle offers accommodation of various standards – from luxurious, spacious apartments to tourist rooms.
In the historic interiors, one can feel the spirit of former times. The White Apartment was once intended for the count’s family, while the Black Apartment is said to have hosted the German Emperor himself, Wilhelm II. It is also worth paying attention to the stay packages offering additional attractions. One of them is the “Mysterious Stays”, which – apart from accommodation – also include a visit to an outdoor escape room, adding a note of adventure to the whole experience. Hotel guests are also invited to the castle restaurant and café, while the extensive park, chambers open to visitors and towers make this an ideal place for a successful weekend.
